I stepped in five puddles on my way to DSW today. It’s been pouring! before the past two hours, during which we’ve had a brief sunny respite, I’d seen the sun twice all week long. mais ça va! because spring is here! — she said, rocking herself back and forth. The sun will be here any time.
All we have to do is hang in there, and to pass the time we can talk about cute sandals.

I went to DSW today with Novato’s littlest shoe fanatic, who was very opinionated, by the way. She had no qualms about telling me which shoes passed muster.
I saw a bunch of cute sandals while we were there…
1. B.O.C. Adney flat sandal in blush ($39.99)
Like these B.O.C. blush flats. The foot bed was squishy and comfortable, and I love the little petals.

2. Dr. Scholl’s wander On flat sandal ($49.99)
The rubber bottom makes these Dr. Scholl’s wander On flats look a little like healthcare facility shoes, but I like how the fabric twists on the top.
3. Sam Edelman Gates sandal ($39.99)
I like these mostly because they remind me of Snuffleupagus.
4. Kelly & Katie Bania flat sandal ($39.99)
They’re artificial leather, but they look a lot more expensive than $40 to me. and there’s something very Jackie O. about them.
5. Sam Edelman Grace sandal ($39.99)
The cutest beaded detail! I like the mixed metal action happening, too. I think these would opt for lots of different outfits.
6. Katy Perry Watermelon sandal ($39.99)
I had no idea Katy had a shoe line.
Granted, these look like the most uneasy sandals ever, but I’ve never seen fruit so front and center on a sandal before, LOL!
I love the color of these, but man, that jelly rubber would make my feet sweet like CRAY.
7. Katy Perry Lemon sandal ($39.99)
Pucker up! There’s also a lemon ? version.
8. Franco Sarto Derek Wedge sandal ($59.99)
Ah, Franco Sarto, love of my life! These are cute. I could do without the double buckle (it’s one a lot more buckle than I want to deal with), but I like the wedge action, and it has just enough height for me.
9. Crown vintage Lillee ($49.99)
If I didn’t have to chase down a tubby tabby and a toddler anywhere from point A to point B, I’d wear these wedges in a hot second, especially the dark brown.
But again with the double buckles? POURQUOI!?
10. Dolce Vita Parin ($49.99)
These slides look best for vacation. Can’t you see them with a cute sundress? I’m really diggin’ the printed ones, but the denim version looks a lot more versatile.
11. Kelly & Katie Fionah Wedge sandal ($49.99)
Check out that gold wedge texture. Ooh, fancy!
12. G by guess Dalina Wedge sandal ($49.99)
MIGNON! Again, if I wasn’t rolling deep in #tabbytoddlerlife, I’d wear this in a hot second.
13. Marc Fischer kick off Wedge sandal ($59.99)
OK, I may have to give in and get these, even if I don’t wear them for a few years, because there’s so much good going on! I love the black suede, the ruffles on the front, the blanket stitching, and the single strap, YAY!
AND IT’S A PLATFORM. Which I can absolutely handle.
14. Aerosoles Yetroactive ($49.99)
So, this is a lot more my current speed. Cute, incredibly low heel, comfy-looking foot bed.
15. Roxy Lola Flip-Flop ($26.99)
I regret not bringing these flip-flops home with me… They absolutely look a lot more dressy than my regular flip-flops. I think they’d opt for a lot, and I like the braided metallic straps.
16. Dolce Vita Paci Wedge sandal ($49.99)
Orange POP!
17. Franco Sarto Riviera ($49.99)
This is just a basic slide, but I bet it would look cute with a maxi dress.
I like the studs around the bottom, and I’m pretty sure these are real leather.
18. Diva Dreamer ($59.99)
AMOUR ? the cutouts, the color and the low heel.
